Anvil & Stirrup are returning to SOUNDkitchen for our 1st birthday bash. Anvil & Stirrup is a collaborative project between the composers Iain Armstrong and Antti Sakari Saario. Coming from a background in fixed media composition and acousmatic music they are currently developing a performance practice that brings studio techniques into a live setting. They’ll be performing a structured improvisation, unfolding sonic paths through a shared library of found sounds.
- SOUNDkitchen is dedicated to the promotion of artists working in the field of sound.
A guided sound walk that gives walkers an opportunity to actively listen to the soundscape of Edgbaston Reservoir. Part of Still Walking Festival 2013, Birmingham.
