Garfield Benjamin (1987-??) is a composer, mixed media artist and part time digital art theorist working in Birmingham as a member of BEAST. His work explores synthesised and recorded sound with extreme processing and a digital aesthetic.

Garfield is currently undertaking doctoral research, under Jonty Harrison, into the total work of art in the context of the digital age and contemporary culture. His research interests include art as revolution, differential dialectics, existential phenomenology, the impact of digital media, mixed media art and the aesthetic of death metal.
