As part of the upcoming Birmingham Weekender and in collaboration with Still Walking SOUNDkitchen will be leading a SOUNDwalk around central Birmingham that invites you to actively listen to a busy metropolitan sonic environment. Discover a new appreciation for the ever changing soundscape, linger on sonic features and hear the sound of architecture. Shift your perception as we augment reality with recorded sounds.

A link to sound files will be emailed to ticketholders ahead of the walk which will can be preloaded onto your smartphones or MP3 players. A small number of these will be available on the day.
The walk takes place in an urban environment and appropriate footwear should be worn. The walk will avoid steps where possible and an accessible route will be available.
The route covers approx. 2 miles. Suitable for ages 12 and up.
