SOUNDkitchen to perform at Klang! électroacoustique

The SOUNDkitchen collective are winding their way to the south of France this week to perform at Klang! électroacoustique, a festival of electroacoustic music in Montpelier.

Also performing at the festival are some stalwarts of electroacoustic music including François Bayle, Christian Eloy, Anette Vande Gorne, Francis Dhomont and Jonty Harrison.

For their performance, Iain Armstrong and Annie Mahtani will perform a structured improvisation bringing the techniques and aesthetics of acousmatic music into a live performance situation. The performance will be diffused over the 50 loudspeaker strong acousmonium by James Carpenter.
